Despite Square saying online someone will contact us to help this again has not been the case. **Update 19.08.22** Tried to speak to a line manager this morning to discuss the concerns and not surprisingly nobody is available to help.

The client is frustrated because of the lack of support from square and equally their clients that are wanting to pay by card that cannot do so. No support offered this has been tried several times and nobody knows the answer to it! It’s almost laughable when we are receiving targeting ads saying to ‘don’t miss out - get your business up and running with square’ We are fed up as it makes us look inept for passing on the recommendation. contact the contact centre for support - no help what so ever.

On all of squares emails it says you can process transactions and it will sit in a holding account until complete - not the case! - Several emails received to say the accounts have been verified and we can now use the account to process the transactions - not the case! - more errors saying ‘no active locations’ - followed by the verifications through the app when they have entered their details in several times for the website to come up with un known error. Whilst they are verifying the bank account. Several emails recieved to say the accounts have been activated and ready to use. This is where the issues have happened and why we would never recommend square to any other businesses. Based on what we experienced we recommended square onto many other businesses who were looking to process card transactions. We have used the square platform for a while and praised how easily it was to work and process transactions.
